The short answer
A Flutter app usually costs $1,500 to $15,000 for a focused first version, $15,000 to $60,000 for an app with accounts, payments and its own backend, and $60,000 or more for a large product. On top of the build, Apple charges $99 a year and Google Play $25 once. At Enthros a Flutter app starts at $1,500 for iOS and Android.

What are the costs of a Flutter app?
A Flutter app has three costs: the build, the store accounts and the running cost after launch. Most quotes only cover the first, so ask about the other two before you compare.
The build is paid to whoever designs and codes the app. The store accounts are paid to Apple and Google. The running cost covers the backend, the services the app uses and the updates every new phone system brings.
What does it cost to have a Flutter app built?
The price follows the number of screens and how much happens behind them. As a rough guide, based on the quotes clients show us:
- A focused first version, up to about 10 screens with login: about $1,500 to $15,000
- An app with accounts, payments, notifications and its own backend: about $15,000 to $60,000
- A large app with several user roles, offline use, live updates or heavy integrations: $60,000 and up
What do the app stores charge?
Both stores charge for a developer account in your name. These are the prices on the official Apple and Google pages, as of 28 October 2026:
- Apple Developer Program: $99 a year, needed to publish on the App Store
- Google Play developer account: $25, paid once
What moves the price up?
Six things decide most Flutter quotes:
- Screens and flows: every new screen is designed, built and tested on both platforms
- Backend: accounts, data and an admin panel for your team take as long as the app itself on many projects
- Payments: subscriptions and in app purchases need setup and review on each store
- Integrations: maps, calendars, health data or your own systems each add build and test time
- Offline use: an app that works without signal needs local storage and syncing
- Design and motion: custom animation and a full design system cost more than standard screens
Is Flutter cheaper than two native apps?
Usually, yes. Flutter runs one codebase on iOS and Android, so most of the app is written, tested and fixed once instead of twice. Every update after launch costs less for the same reason.
Native apps still make sense for a few products, such as apps built around one phone feature that Flutter does not reach well. For most business apps and first versions, one shared codebase is the better spend.
What does a Flutter app cost after launch?
Plan for the backend, which ranges from almost nothing on a starter plan to a few hundred dollars a month for a busy app, and for one or two updates a year when Apple and Google release new phone systems.
At Enthros the first 30 days after launch are covered. After that an optional care plan, from $900 a month, covers updates, fixes and new features.
What does a Flutter app cost at Enthros?
Our Flutter apps start at $1,500 for a focused first version of up to 10 screens, with login and the release to both stores, and take 15 to 20 weeks from the first call to the stores. Larger apps get a fixed quote before work starts, and the price you approve is the price you pay.
The store accounts and the backend sit in your name, so you own the app and everything it runs on from day one.
