The short answer

A Framer website has two costs: the build and the monthly plan. A build runs from a few hundred dollars for a small site made from a template to $10,000 or more for a large custom site with rich motion. Hosting is paid to Framer: $10 a month on Basic or $30 on Pro, billed yearly. At Enthros a custom Framer website starts at $350 for up to 5 pages.

What are the two costs of a Framer website?

Every Framer site has a one time cost to design and build it, and a running cost to keep it online. People compare quotes for the first and often forget the second.

The build is paid to whoever makes the site: you, a freelancer or a studio. The running cost is paid to Framer for each site, monthly or yearly, and covers hosting, your own domain and the content system.

What does Framer charge each month?

Framer puts each site on its own plan. These are the prices on yearly billing, as of October 2026:

  • Free: $0, for trying Framer on a Framer address, with no custom domain
  • Basic: $10 a month, for personal and small sites, with up to 30 pages, 2 CMS collections and 50 GB of bandwidth
  • Pro: $30 a month, for business sites, with 10 CMS collections, 100 GB of bandwidth, redirects and a staging site
  • Enterprise: priced on request, for large teams with custom limits and security needs

Which Framer plan does a business site need?

Most business sites need Pro. Redirects alone make it worth it: when you move from another platform, redirects keep your old page addresses working and protect your search rankings. Pro also adds a staging site, so changes can be checked before they go live.

Basic is fine for a portfolio, a personal site or a one page site that will stay small. Monthly billing costs more than yearly on both plans. Extra editors cost $20 a month each and content editors $10, so count who on your team needs access.

What does it cost to have a Framer site built?

The build price depends on who does the work and how much of the design is custom. As a rough guide, based on the quotes clients show us:

  • A template filled with your content: free if you do it yourself, about $200 to $800 from a freelancer
  • Custom design, up to 5 pages: about $350 to $2,500
  • Custom design, 10 to 20 pages with a blog or case studies: about $2,000 to $8,000
  • A large site with rich motion, several languages or custom code: $10,000 and up

What moves the price up?

Five things decide most Framer quotes, and the page count is not the biggest one:

  • Page types: every new layout is designed and built once, so 20 pages on 4 layouts cost less than 10 pages that all look different
  • Motion: scroll effects and interactions take design time and testing on every screen size
  • CMS: blogs, case studies and job lists need collections, templates and filters
  • Languages: each one is set up and checked by hand, and Framer charges for each extra language
  • Content: whether you supply the words and photos, or they are written and sourced for you

What does a Framer website cost at Enthros?

Our Framer websites start at $350 for up to 5 pages, with custom design, CMS set up and launch, and take 2 to 3 weeks. Larger sites get a fixed quote before work starts, and the price you approve is the price you pay.

The Framer plan sits in your own account and is billed to you, so you own the site from day one and never depend on us to keep it online.

Is a template cheaper in the long run?

A template is cheaper on day one. It costs more when the site has to change: templates are made for a generic business, and reshaping one to fit yours often takes longer than designing the right layout from the start.

If the site is how customers judge you, custom design pays for itself. If you need something online for a few months while the business takes shape, a template is a sensible start.
